The IMCOM-Europe Postal Operations Branch recommends that you come prepared to expedite and make the most of your postal experience by completing your online customs declarations prior to visiting the office. If you are new to the military package shipping game, here are some basic rules of the road.
You can take advantage of the U.S. Postal Service’s ‘Click-N-Ship’ program, and the “If It Fits, It Ships’ flat-rate mailing boxes. You can have your labels printed and affixed prior to coming to the postal office. Most offices have a drop off point so you can avoid waiting in line. For your holiday cards, the USPS has special holiday stamps to increase the festive factor! Other options include Stamps.com, Pirateship.com. These sites are USPS Official Partners and offer discounts on shipping expenses on their qualifying services.
